Code of Conduct

Everyone is welcome to the AntiCap site and you are welcome to read all the postings in the public areas. In order to post your own messages, we regret that, to deter abuse by spammers, it is now necessary for you to register for the forum. You will require a vaild email address (which will not be made available to other members or to any commercial interests without your consent) and it then allows you immediate access to the site and the opportunity to put your opinion or point of view to all your fellow members. You will need to register to use the chat system.

In order to develop a sense of AntiCap Community, you are invited to fill in the 'Profile' section, and to edit it as necessary. However; this is optional and you are under no obligation to do so. We currently do not allow pictures in your profile.

If you have your own web site please include your full URL. This is an excellent way to help build your visitor numbers. Accounts created simply to spam dubious origin websites will be deleted.

We ask you to keep on topic related to the purpose and issues that affect the campaign for unlimited broadband services.

There are no restrictions on the number of times you post entries. You may be as contentious, outspoken or controversial as you wish. However; we do ask you to observe the following Rules and Etiquette:

In general, this is a text forum. HTML is not permitted due to security problems, but there are plenty of formatting options and a selection of 'smilies' available to you.

There is currenlty no ability to post attachments to the forum, although we may add such a feature in the future.

When replying, do try and keep to that subject. If you have other points to make, start a new ‘Thread’.

Your comments should be original. It must not be abusive, indecent, offensive, defamatory, obscene or menacing.

You must remain within the law and as such are responsible for your own messages.

No commercial advertising material please.

Any member who feels that a posting breaks these guide-lines is invited to contact us moderator@anticap.co.uk and draw our attention to the offending item, as early as possible.

We wish to encourage a free exchange of views and the fact that some people may consider an opinion objectionable will not of itself be sufficient reason to remove it. Nevertheless, AntiCap does reserve the right to delete (or possibly to edit) any posting which we feel breaches these rules. As always, the Moderator's decision is final!
